The Best Camera Mode For Fans Storming The Court During Flashing Lights

If you're working inside a college basketball arena and you know the lighting is going to stay the same when the games ends, it's easy to make a picture of fans storming the court.

But if you're in an arena that has flashing lights firing and lighting that is rapidly increasing and decreasing as the fans storm the court, there's a camera mode that works best for this.

Aperture Priority.

In most arenas, setting your mode to aperture priority and the ISO to 3200 will give you good results. Your aperture should be set to F/2.8.

In the below image, Clemson fans rush the floor after upsetting No. 2 Duke. There are white, orange and purple spotlights moving around all over the crowd and the amount of light on the court is changing every second
