What Makes a Good Sports Picture? Part 3 - Peak Moments

Continuing our series on what makes a good sports picture, here's an element that will make your pictures jump off the screen.

Peak Action

It's the moment when the player is the highest off the ground, the ball is right on the bat or in this case a face is getting hit. Who says women's basketball isn't physical?

When selecting your best photos, choose the image that shows the peak moment. 

When you invest in a camera, look for one that can capture at least 10 frames per second. The more frames per second the better, but remember, whatever you shoot, you'll have to sort through later
