Here's an easy way to determine your wedding coverage pricing.
Find out what most brides are paying for their wedding in your market.
For example, let's say that in your market, most brides are spending around $25,000 on their wedding.
Keep in mind, that's an average.
Couples normally spend around 8 to 10 percent of their budget on photography.
That's $2,000 - $2,500 for a photographer. Now you know the average in your market.
How do I find out what most brides are spending in my market?
Great question.
Wedding planners are the perfect source when it comes to getting that information and most are very nice about sharing those numbers with you.
You can also find out what couples are spending on their wedding by searching online but the best source is a planner, since they know the market so well.Check back soon for Part 2, where I'll go over how to list your wedding packages and charge more than just average pricing.
