The Sky is Your Friend at Beach Volleyball

If you're creating beach volleyball images, it's worth postponing dinner to stick around for twilight.

There's a 15-minute window where the amount of light coming from the court lights is the same as the light in the sky.

Focus on the player at the front of the net on the other side. Aim for the numbers on the player's jersey, in this case, the number 22.

Set your camera to Shutter Priority with the shutter speed at 1000 and the ISO at 3200

By the way, this technique can be used for any outdoor sport.
