Overall, the newer Canon R5 slays dragons compared to the Mark lV but....get ready....The Mark IV still beats out the R5 in one category.

Turns out the Mark IV got an 83% rating compared to the R5's 77% rating when it comes to photographing football, basketball, baseball and more.
The autofocus tracking on the Mark IV is fast enough to cover every level, including little league baseball all the way up to NFL and NBA.

Had no idea. Would have assumed the R5 killed the Mark 4 in autofocus speed. Great Stuff!
